Discover Lincoln Park on a leisurely 2-hour walking tour through one of Chicago's oldest and most architecturally varied neighborhoods. Beginning at Oz Park — a whimsical tribute to Wizard of Oz author L. Frank Baum — the tour winds through the Mid-North Historic District, before entering Lincoln Park itself, Chicago's oldest and largest park. Along the way, we’ll pick up coffee and a treat. We’ll explore one of Chicago’s best hidden gems, the Alfred Caldwell Lily Pond, before concluding our experience on the pristine lawn outside the Lincoln Park Conservatory.

Why Lincoln Park holds a special place in my heart

Lincoln Park: Chicago’s City in a Garden Walking Tour

There is something undeniably special about Chicago in the crisp outdoors, but my absolute favorite way to experience the city has always been on foot, taking in the stories built right into its neighborhoods. Our Lincoln Park walking tour holds a truly special place in my heart, and honestly, it’s easy to see why. There is nothing quite like strolling down quiet, tree-lined historic streets, discovering a quiet hidden lily pond tucked away from the city bustle, and warm-up stops for fresh local coffee and treats along the way.

What makes this tour so meaningful to me is how seamlessly it balances Chicago's rich architectural history with its tranquil green spaces. As we wind our way from Oz Park through historic districts and into the heart of Lincoln Park itself, you get to slow down and truly see the city from an insider's perspective. It reminds you just how rich, welcoming, and vibrant Chicago’s story really is.
