Confession time: We've got Google Alerts set up for our own name.
Most of the time, when we get new results, it's a TripAdvisor review tripping the Google sensors, but every once in a while, a real gem catches us off guard.
This time, it was CBS 2 Chicago surprising us by naming us one of the city's top foodies to follow on Twitter. Aww, we're blushing! We're in good company, too: Check out the others who made the list!

If you aren't already following us on Twitter, what the heck is stopping you? We love Chicago, we love food and we love talking with the folks we follow.
Right now, we're asking around the Twittersphere for Chicagoans' favorite off-the-beaten-path food spots to recommend to out-of-town visitors looking for a little culinary adventure. (That's after they go on their Chicago Food Planet food tasting and cultural walking tours, of course…)
If you're on Twitter, don't be a stranger! Give us a follow and say hello. You never know what we'll be talking about next.
And thanks, CBS 2, for the mention… Wonder if your reporter, Elizabeth SanFilippo, has been on one of our tours?
